(HELTONVILLE) - A Heltonville man was found safe, but extremely cold.
Lawrence County police and first responders from Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Department searched for an 82-year-old male Wednesday night.
Police were notified that the man was missing just after 7 p.m. and the caller believed he was somewhere on his 70-acre farm on West Pleasant Run Road.
"The caller was not sure if he was out working on the farm and had been injured and could not return to the house," Craig added. "We did know the last time anyone had saw him was just before 3 p.m."
Rescue crews found the man at 7:20 p.m.
"He was extremely cold, but didn't seem to have any physical injuries," Craig says. "He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for a medical evaluation."
