(MITCHELL) - Two people were injured in an accident Saturday morning on Ind. 60 near Lawrenceport Road.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, April Lemmons, of Bedford, was traveling wast on Ind. 60 when her 2000 Chevrolet Tracker hit a patch of ice and spun out of control. The vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 1993 Mazda driving by Trever Cooper, of Paoli.
Cooper told police he was traveling east on Ind. 60 when the vehicle struck his and then rolled over.
Lemmons suffered face injuries, Cooper suffered a possible fractured knee or lower leg.
Assisting at the scene was a Seals ambulance and Marion Volunteer Fire Department.
