(WEST BADEN SPRINGS) - Indiana State Police are looking for two Lawrence County men in connection with two attempted murders.
Police say 20-year-old Tanner Stickney, and 21-year-old Cody Lake, should be consider armed and dangerous.
The two were last seen traveling in a silver 2002 Pontiac, with Indiana registration SDR225. There is a printed sticker saying "Grand Prix" or "Grand Am" in the back window. The two were last seen at the Bloomington WalMart this morning.
According to police the two men, entered the home of Robert and Donna Meehan, of West Baden Springs, around 2:45 a.m. Thursday.
The men wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks entered the home through a bathroom window on the north side of the home and confronted the couple, demanding money and medications.
After Robert refused to cooperate with the suspects, Robert suffered a stab wound to his arm and stomach. Donna suffered a stab wound to her neck. The suspects then fled the home.
The Meehan were transported to Indiana University Health of Paoli, and then taken to the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, for treatment. Mr. Meehan is listed in stable condition, while Mrs. Meehan was released this morning after treatment.
If the individuals or vehicle are located, citizens are asked to contact the Jasper Post of the State Police by calling 812-482-1441, or by simply dialing 911 and informing the dispatch operator of the information. Do not approach the two individuals.
