(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police on Tuesday arrested a man in connection with the May 20th armed robbery of the Marathon gas station on North Kinser Pike.
23-year-old Andrew A. Washington was booked into Monroe County Jail on the felony charge at 4:43 p.m. His bond was set at $20,000 surety, $500 cash.
Washington is accused of entering the gas station and then pulling a machete from his hooded sweatshirt. He then threatened the clerk and demanded cash. The clerk complied and Washington fled the store with the money.
