(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington North took extra precautions after a report of a student threat Wednesday.
A student reported to a teacher about a potential threat at the high school. Officials immediately took steps to ensure all the exterior doors were locked and contacted Bloomington Police, who placed an officer at the main entrance.
The alleged threat was made by a Bloomington North student who was absent from school Wednesday.
School officials and police did interview students and the incident continues to be under investigation.
