(SEYMOUR) - A 12-year-old boy was taken to Schneck Medical Center on Saturday evening after he sustained a broken sternum and head laceration in a wreck involving a vehicle that flipped over in northeastern Jackson County.
The boy, whose name was not available Sunday afternoon, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 52-year-old John Dye of Seymour.
Dye told police the wreck occurred because he had trouble seeing, according to the news release from Jackson County Officer Rick Meyer.
The wreck was reported at 6:57 p.m. in the 10000 block of East County Road 700N.
