(JACKSON CO.) - A Brownstown man was killed after he lost control of his vehicle on U.S. 50 near the Jackson and Lawrence county line Monday night.
According to a Jackson County Police report, 58-year-old David Mark Sterling died after he was ejected from his 1999 Mercury Mountaineer. He was pronounced dead at the scene by an official with the Jackson County Coroner's office.
Police say Sterling was traveling east in the 12000 block of U.S. 50 when the vehicle struck a guardrail, rolled and traveled about 40 feet into a ravine in a wooded area.
