(SWITZ CITY) - The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a hit and run crash.
It happened just before 6 p.m. Sunday.
Police say a vehicle, driven by 71 year old Nancy E Hudson-Moore of Sandborn, was stopped at the intersection of 54 & Charlotte Avenue, waiting to turn north.
That's when her vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle.
A witness said the second vehicle turned southbound on Charlotte Avenue and fled the scene.
Hudson-Moore is listed in critical condition at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
The Greene County Sheriff's Department is requesting the assistance from the public in the identification of the second vehicle.
It is currently unknown who the driver is or the make and model of the vehicle involved.
A witness says the vehicle was a four door mid-size car, gold in color. It should have significant front end damage.
If you have any information, contact the Greene County Sheriff's Department at (812) 384-4411.
