(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man suffered arm and shoulder pain after a two vehicle crash Friday near the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds.
According to a Lawrence County police report, 79-year-old James Durnill of Bedford was driving his 2006 Chevrolet pickup west on U.S. 50 and was preparing to turn into a driveway in the 11000 block of U.S. 50 West when his pickup was hit in the rear by a 2007 GMC Envoy driven by 21-year-old Kaylea Mundel of Shoals.
Mundel told police she was giving a child, who was in the back seat, a sippy cup and didn't see the pickup stop.
Mundel's vehicle collifed with Durnill's pickup and a maibox.
She and the child were not injured, but Durnill complained of shoulder and upper arm pain.
