(GNAW BONE) - Brown County Lions looking for the person or persons who stole their miniature parade car from storage in Gnaw Bone.
The Brown County Democrat reports that the one-man, gas-powered "club car" had been out of commission after it "took off on its own" and crashed, with Lion Earl Eversol in the driver's seat, while he was preparing for the 2012 Spring Blossom Parade.
Eversol was hospitalized. It had not been driven since, and was in storage pending some sort of solution to the problem that caused the crash, Hanson said.
Lions noticed it was missing from the Old Time Flea Market around the first of the year. They believe it was stolen.
Several flea market visitors had asked if it was for sale. It wasn't. It was being stored in an unlocked area, near the Lions' trailer and outhouse race entry.
Anyone with information about the car's whereabouts to call Charlie Placke at 988-2346 or the Brown County Sheriff's Department at 988-6655.
