Six Arrested In Martin County Drug Bust

(LOOGOOTEE) - A multi-agency drug investigation in Martin County landed six people in jail.

Officers from the Indiana State Police, Martin and Daviess County Sheriff's Departments, Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force, United States Marshall's Office, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms began executing search warrants at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Three teams simultaneously executed the search and arrest warrants, with all six people in jail before 7 a.m.

Officers arrested:

60-year-old Kevin B. Street of Loogootee on two charges of conspiracy to deal meth, two felony counts of dealing meth and filed a motion for being a habitual offender. He is being held on a $250,000 cash only bond.
45-year-old Michael Troy Kline of Loogootee on two counts of conspiracy to deal meth, two counts of dealing meth and filed a motion for 16 years for a prior conviction. He is being held without bond.
37-year-old James Mesarosh of Shoals on a charge of dealing meth. He is being held without bond.
39-year-old Shiela Taylor of Rossville on charges of conspiracy to deal meth, dealing meth and possession of meth. Bond was set at $75,000 with 10 percent allowed.
55-year-old Frank Nolley of Loogootee on charges of possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $50,000 with 10 percent allowed.
26-year-old Tiffany Baugh of Shoals on a charge of dealing meth. Her bond was set at $50,000 with 10 percent allowed.

The warrants were issued based on a narcotics investigation that began during the summer months of 2014, targeting the sale and distribution of meth.

"I appreciate the detailed and hard work of all the police officers involved in this investigation," commented Martin County Prosecutor Michael Steiner. "I also appreciate the long hours that my Chief Deputy Prosecutor Larry Brodeur put in on this case."
