(BEDFORD) - A woman was arrested after police stopped her vehicle at 15th and H Street after they noticed her license plate had expired in October.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, during the traffic stop officers also discovered 36-year-old Sara Scalf also had a fictitious registration.
"A K-9 was called to the scene and alerted officers there were drugs in the vehicle," Parsley added.
Officers discovered three ziplock-baggies containing a crystal substance that tested positive for meth. They also recovered a small glass smoking pipe.
Scalf, who told police she was homeless, was arrested on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
