(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police were called to Max’s Place on West Sixth Street Saturday night after a woman reported she had been slapped and punched by another woman.
The woman told police she was singing when another woman began making fun of her.
The woman says she approached the woman who was making fun of her and the two got into an argument. The complainant then threw her glass of beer at the woman, who then slapped her and punched her several times.
The woman told police she didn't know the other woman. The woman, who suffered minor bruising, drove to a local hospital for treatment.
Bloomington Police are investigating the incident.
