(BEDFORD) - Four people were arrested after the Lawrence County Drug Task Force went to a home on North Acres Drive Thursday night.
Lawrence County Sheriff Mike Branham says officers went to the home with arrests warrants.
After officers knocked on the door and it was opened they could smell the odor of burnt marijuana.
After receiving permission to search the home with a police K-9, officers found less than 3 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia including syringes
Officers arrested 35-year-old Brandon Asbury of Bedford on charges of possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance. He was also wanted on a warrant to revoke probation.
31-year-old Erika Asbury of Bedford is facing charges of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, visiting a common nuisance and on a warrant for theft.
27-year-old Christopher McIntosh of Paoli is facing charges of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.
And 27-year-old Michael Turpin of Bedford is facing a charge of visiting a common nuisance and is wanted on a warrant in Martin County.
