(BLOOMFIELD) - Students in the Bloomfield School District got an unexpected break from school on Jan. 27 due to bad winter weather, but they will have to make it up at the end of the school year.
The school district announced that students will attend school on May 21, making the school year one day longer than originally planned.
Bloomfield School District Superintendent Dan Sichting says if school is canceled between now and Feb. 16 President's Day, school will be in session that day. If school is not called off students will be off to observe the holiday.
