(BROWN CO.) - Brown County Sheriff’s Department says a man who was shot in the groin on February 8 was an accident.
The Brown County Democrat reported, sheriff deputies were called to a home in the 100 block of Owl Creek Road and found a man who had been shot in the groin going in and out of consciousness.
The injured man and another man at the scene told police the man was looking at the gun when he dropped it and it went off. Police say both men were intoxicated.
The injured man was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew and then taken to a local hospital for treatment.
