(MITCHELL) - Mitchell City Attorney Bryon Steele is drawing up an ordinance that would limit when and where political signs can be placed in Mitchell.
The Times Mail reports that the Mitchell City council members will review the ordinance during their March 2 meeting.
The ordinance would limit political signs being erected in city limits to 30 days before both primary and general elections. The signs must be taken down within seven days of the election. Signs cannot be large than 4 feet by 8 feet and must be placed where they don't obstruct intersections.
