(BLOOMINGTON) - An official with ModusLink PTS, an aftermarket electronics repair company, confirmed Monday morning plans to permanently eliminate 320 positions at its westside location at 1425 Curry Pike.
The company's downsizing was prompted by the loss of business from a major customer.
The company anticipates that reductions will begin April 21 and will be completed approximately 20 to 30 days after that time.
The cuts will affect 6 salaried employees, 187 hourly hires and up to 127 contracted or temporary laborers, according to a notice submitted to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
