(BEDFORD) - A Norman man was arrested Tuesday night after Bedford Police officers received a tip he was dealing heroin.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley officers were notified at 10:34 p.m. about a possible drug deal that happened on U.S. 50 East.
"Officers were given a description of the vehicle involved," Parsley says. "They stopped the vehicle on U.S. 50 at Woody Farm Road."
During that traffic stop officers discovered 25-year-old Ryan Dodds had heroin packaged to sell.
"They also recovered several pills of Mucus Relief DM, which is a prescription medication, and drug paraphernalia."
Dodds was arrested on charges of dealing heroin, two counts of possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin with the intent to deal, possession of a legend drug and maintaining a common nuisance.
