(JUDAH) - One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Old Ind. 37 Thursday.
According to an Indiana State Police report, 58-year-old Donald O. Patton of Springville suffered internal injuries and minor cuts. He was taken to Indiana University Bedford Hospital.
According to police Patton was traveling south on Ind. 37 in a 1995 Ford when he didn't stop for the stop light at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Old Ind. 37.
Patton's vehicle struck a 2006 Sprinter van driven by 40-year-old Jason Davis of Westpoint who was traveling west on Old Ind. 37.
Davis' van was then pushed into the front of a 2007 Mack truck driven by 44-year-old Troy Higgs of Springville.
Police say Patton was not wearing a seatbelt during the incident.
Davis and Higgs refused medical treatment at the scene.
Assisting at the scene were officers from the Lawrence County Police Department, Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department and an Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital ambulance crew.
