(BLOOMINGTON) - The Bloomington Police Department is investigating an assault that happened Saturday night at Western Skateland on West 17th Street.
According to Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualters, officers were called to the facility at 8:15 p.m. After a woman reported she had a Sony PSP and other items stolen.
Police say the woman attempted to call her children's father about the stolen items but he wouldn't answer his phone. She then noticed him and another woman at a table at the facility. The woman approached the table and then picked up two cups belonging to the children and threw them at the other woman striking her in the face. The woman then grabbed her children and left the building and waited outside until police arrived.
The woman denied throwing the cups at the other woman.
No one was arrested in the incident, but police did request and arrest warrant.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Bloomington Police Department.
