(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are looking for a man who allegedly raped a woman in her home last Sunday morning.
The 19-year-old female reported the rape on Wednesday.
According to the woman, she was walking home from a party around 3:30 a.m. last Sunday when she encountered a black man near Ninth and Dunn streets hear her home.
The man told the woman he was lost and needed her help. The man followed the woman home and then entered her home without being invited in says Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualters. Police says the woman didn't stop the man from entering.
The two sat down on the couch and the man allegedly pulled out a small flask of alcohol and the two began drinking.
While sitting on the couch, the man moved closer to her and the two began kissing. The woman then allegedly pushed the man away. That is when the man allegedly forced her to have sex. Afterwards she was able to push away and that is when her roommate's boyfriend entered the room. The man allegedly gathered his clothes and left.
Police say the woman did not go to the hospital after the alleged rape.
Police are investigating the incident and are looking for a black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a muscular build.
