According to Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualters, a person walked into the store and the manager recognized him from previous shoplifting incidents. The man was with another individual.
That person came to the counter and paid for their items, but after the two left, the manager noticed a bottle of Cognac was missing and called police. The manager told police he had seen one of the men with the bottle.
Police were unable to find the man and Big Red Liquors decided not to file charges.
