(LINTON) - Construction of a visitor’s center at Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area near Linton is set to begin later this year nearly three years after its original groundbreaking ceremony.
DNR deputy director John Davis says the legislature has approved funding and work on the center should begin by September.
Davis says $2.6 million has been allocated for the project at the 8,000-acre wildlife area.
