(SEYMOUR) - A driver was cited by Seymour police Monday morning after running a red light and hitting a city transit bus, causing it to tip on its side.
Around 7:15 a.m., 63-year-old Robert Skinnari of Vernon was driving his 2008 Nissan Frontier pickup truck east on U.S. 50 or Tipton Street when he drove through a red light at the intersection of Broadway Street
A Seymour Transit bus, driven by 72-year-old Wayne Waggoner of Seymour was southbound on Broadway Street and had a green light, according to witnesses. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
