(CUZCO) - The cause of a fire that destroyed a yard barn behind a home east of Dubois Saturday night remains unknown.
Dubois firefighters were called to the home of Aaron and Jacquelyn Taylor along North 1050 East, southeast of Cuzco shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.
Dubois Volunteer Fire Department spokesman Zach Eichmiller says a 12×12 yard barn was already burned to the ground when firefighters arrived on scene.
The prefabricated building was about 75 feet behind the Taylor's home. The contents including a lawn tractor were destroyed.
The Taylor's daughter noticed the fire and began screaming alerting her parents of the fire.
The family, including three children all got out of the house as a precaution, though the house was not damaged.
Eichmiller says the cause of the fire remains unknown as the building did not have electricity.
