Police Waiting For Autopsy Findings In Death Of West Baden Man

(WEST BADEN) - Police are investigating the death of a West Baden man.

Indiana State Police and the Orange County Sheriff's Department were called to a home at 5491 West County Road 100 North after a family member went to the home around 11:30 a.m. and found 30-year-old Franklin McCracken inside with injuries.

McCracken was flown to the University of Louisville hospital where he died from his wounds.

Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are actively investigating the case and are considering it a death investigation, pending the autopsy findings.

An autopsy was performed Sunday. Investigators are awaiting the final results of the autopsy and other pathology testing before making conclusions regarding McCracken's death. Those tests should be completed this week.
