(BLOOMINGTON) - Two men were arrested Tuesday in Bloomington on preliminary charges of dealing narcotics.
Police arrested 31-year-old Daniel W. Davis of Bloomington and 30-year-old Jeffery Figures of Indianapolis.
According to Capt. Joe Qualters, Bloomington Police made three controlled heroin purchases from Davis in March.
They also set up surveillance on Davis' home in the 2700 block of North Smith Pike and saw Figures enter and leave the home.
Officers followed him and stopped his vehicle on Ind. 37. they found $3,000 from that day's after selling heroin to Davis.
Shortly after stopping Figures, officers obtained a search warrant for Davis' residence, where they found 30 grams of heroin and a small amount of crystal meth.
Davis was charged with two counts of dealing narcotics which was elevated because a firearm was found inside the home. Figures was also charged with dealing narcotics.
