(MITCHELL) - Two drivers were injured when their vehicles collided on State Road 37 at Wesley Chapel Road on Friday.
According to a Lawrence County police report, 21-year-old Jordan Hurt of Mitchell was driving a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup on west on Wesley Chapel Road and was crossing State Road 37 when he pulled his truck into the path of a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer driven by 63-year-old Evelyn Williams of Bedford.
Hurt suffered a minor head injury and but refused treatment. Williams suffered leg and foot injuries and was taken to IU Health Bedford Hospital.
An Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital ambulance crew and Marion Township Rural Fire Department members assisted at the scene.
