(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested Thursday after police say she was dealing meth at the Budget Inn.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 31-year-old Cassandra Emmons, also known as Cassi Jaggers, was arrested after an information bought meth from her twice in April. The informant who was given marked money by police and was wearing a recording and video device during the drug buys and provided Lawrence County police with four baggies that contained 1.5 grams of meth. During that buy police say a young child was in the hotel room at the time.
The second time, the informant returned to police with seven baggies of meth that weighed 2.74 grams.
Emmons is charged with two counts of dealing meth, two counts of possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.
