(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are investigating a stabbing.
On Saturday night officers were alerted to an assault with a knife in the 300 block of East Winslow Road near the Winslow One-Stop Laundromat.
According to Bloomington Police Lt. Brad Seifers, a man reportedly called his friends to pick him up after they had just dropped him off about a half an hour earlier.
The man's friends told police when the picked the man up they realized he had a stab wound to his lower torso. They immediately took him to Monroe Hospital for treatment.
The man, who is not from Bloomington but comes to the area frequently to visit friends, refused to cooperate with police. Detectives interviewed the man again on Monday and the case remains under investigation.
