(SAN ANTONIO, TX) - Air Force Airman Dylan S. Snoddy graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Snoddy is the son of Lori Snoddy and the late Shaddy Snoddy, of Heltonville; brothers Alexander Snoddy, of Bedford and Coen Snoddy, of Heltonville. He is the grandson of Helen Metcalf and Joan and Dwight Snoddy of Bloomington and Janet and Jerry Waterford of Bedford and Mary and Bill Snoddy, of Bloomington, and nephew of Lorna Waterford and Todd Spangler of Martinsville.
The airman graduated in 2013 from Bedford North Lawrence High School.
