(SAN ANTONIO, TX.) - Air Force Airman Elissa M. Humphery graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Humphery is the daughter of Jerry A. Humphery of Indianapolis, Ind., and Shellie M. Evans of Franklin, Ind., step-daughter of John A. Evans of Franklin, Ind., granddaughter of Phyllis M. Evans of Indianapolis, Ind., and Cathy A. and Dan Waffle of Indianapolis, Ind., and niece of Cheryl and Jeff Davis of Bedford, Ind.
She is a 2014 graduate of Franklin Central High School, Indianapolis, Ind.
