INDOT Restricting I-65 Travel Lanes Due To Construction

(UNDATED) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is restricting Interstate 65 travel lanes between mile markers 31.5 and 48.5 as part of construction operations on the $54.7 million rehabilitation project between State Road 56 in Scott County and U.S. 50 in Jackson County.

The changes began at 7 p.m. Sunday and will end at 1 p.m. Friday. Operations are 24 hours a day.

The lane restrictions include:

• Now through Wednesday: I-65 northbound and southbound right lanes between mile markers 43.5 and 48.5
• Wednesday through Friday: I-65 northbound and southbound left lanes between mile markers 43.5 and 48.5
• Sunday through Friday: I-65 southbound right lane, then shift to left lane between mile markers 32.5 to 31.5
