(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County police need the public’s help in locating 38-year-old Jesse Mills. He was reported missing Sunday.
Mills was last seen on Donica Church Road in northern Lawrence County early Sunday morning. Shortly after midnight Sunday, a vehicle registered to Jesse's mother Cheryl Martin was found on Donica Church Road near Judah. Martin told police her son had been driving it.
He is described as a white male, 5'10" tall, 175lbs, short thinning brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and boots, no other clothing description is available.
Sheriff Mike Branham says the area Mills went missing has some woods and fields, but only about a dozen houses in a half-mile radius of where the vehicle was found. Police and Department of Natural Resource divers were searching the area of the Salt Creek River bottoms last night after search parties found items belonging to Mills. The search was suspended last night, but according to Branham they will continue today.
If you know the whereabouts of Jesse Mills or have information about the incident, contact the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department at (812) 275-3316.
