(LITTLE ACRES) - A man involved in a wreck Monday near Little Acres wound up being arrested on five charges after police say he fled the scene and tried to hide in a nearby wooded area.
The incident that led to the arrest of 34-year-old Joshua J. Love, of Seymour, began when the Nissan Altima he was driving hit and snapped an REMC pole in the 10000 block of North State Road 11, according to a report from Jackson County Officer Adam Nicholson.
Love, wanted on a Bartholomew County warrant, and a male passenger were not hurt in the wreck, reported at 1:37 a.m. Monday. Love fled the scene, but the passenger did not and was not arrested.
