(PAOLI) - A Paoli man was arrested Saturday after the Orange County Drug Enforcement Unit searched his home and found meth.
Officers arrived at the home of 39-year-old Christopher Basinger at 6:30 p.m.
Basinger was not home, but police armed with a search warrant entered the home to find meth, a firearm, synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia and other items used to deal meth.
While officers were finishing up their search Basinger came home and was arrested without incident. He was taken to the Orange County Jail on charges of dealing meth while in possession of a firearm, possession of meth and synthetic marijuana and possession of a synthetic marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.
Police say these operations would not be possible without the tips and information received from the citizens of Orange County. Officers would like to thank citizens for assisting them in their efforts to keep Orange County a safe and healthy community to live in. Contact your local police or sheriff's department if you suspect illegal activity in your area.
