(BLOOMINGTON) A South Bend woman was arrested after she allegedly attacked others in a parking lot near the near the intersection of South Lincoln and East Fourth streets in Bloomington shortly after midnight Friday morning.
22-year-old Sarah Klopfenstein was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, battery and resisting law enforcement.
According to Bloomington Police when officers arrived they found Klopfenstein laying face down in the parking lot.
When officers approached her she began arguing with police and slapped an officer on his arm. She later kicked an officer and refused to get into the patrol vehicle.
She was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for medical clearance and was then taken to Monroe County Jail.
According to police, those that were injured by Klopfenstein did not seek medical attention.
