(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested Friday after police say she was destroying a home in the 1200 block of Indian Creek Camp Road.
At 2:11 a.m. Lawrence County officers were called to the home after a report that 25-year-old Audra Mason, who lives at 1266 Indian Creek Road, was "tearing up the home and causing a disturbance," according to Sheriff Mike Branham.
Two officers went to the home and spoke to Mason, who told police she was going to bed.
Officers thought everything was settled, but a short time later, officers, who were still in the area, were flagged down by the original caller reporting that Mason had ripped his shirt and cut him on the right forearm. The man also suffered red marks to his throat.
"The man told police he had been injured by Ms. Mason," Branham added.
Mason was arrested without incident on a charge of battery causing bodily injury and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
