According to a Bloomington Police report, officers were called to the 3100 block of SOuth Walnut Street at 11:15 p.m. Friday.
There they discovered a man was holding a woman down in the hallway.
Police say 36-year-old Crystal Chambers, who was intoxicated, had attacked the man with a knife after she claimed the man owed her $24 and he refused to pay her.
The man suffered scratch marks on his elbow and shoulders and Chambers had bit him on the arm.
Witnesses confirmed that Chambers was armed with a knife, which police found at the scene, and had attacked the man after he refused to pay her the money.

After being placed in handcuffs and put into a police car, Chambers then became belligerent and threatened to stab the officers with a second knife she says police did not find while searching her.
Another officer was called to the scene to assist removing Chambers from the police vehicle to be searched again. Police did not find another knife.
