(WASHINGTON) - Four people were arrested in Washington for their connection with an armed robbery at a local Motel in April.
According to Washington City Police, officers received a report the morning of April 3 that two men at the Theroff's Motel had been robbed.
Two men told police that two men with pistols, broke into their room wearing rags over their faces, blue jeans and long-sleeved shirts.
The robbers took $130 in cash from one man, his cell phone and a new pair of NIKE Sneakers. From the other man they took $320 in cash.
The robbers then fled in an older red car.
According to police 30-year-old Nicole Young of Odon had rented the room next to the robbery scene. Also in her room were 31-year-old John Miles, 25-year-old Sean Baxter, both of Washington and 36-year-old Cristian Kamman (aka Clark) of Monroe City.
According to a Daviess Superior Court probable cause affidavit, the group told police they saw the men's motel door ajar and decided to rob the men.
Police say Baxter and Mills robbed the men with air-soft pistols, which police say looked like handguns. Baxter and Mills then fled the motel and told police they later split the money they obtained during the robbery with the women.
Police arrested Mills and Young on Wednesday on warrants charging them each with burglary, two counts of armed robbery and theft.
Young faces additional charges of possession of a syringe and false informing.
Both were taken to Daviess Superior Court for initial hearings, where they entered not guilty pleas. Young and Mills are set for a trial on September 22. Mills was being held in the Daviess County Jail on $500,000 bond. Young was being held without bond.
On Thursday arrested Baxter on a warrant charging him with burglary, theft and two counts of armed robbery. Baxter faces additional charges of vehicle theft, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kamman (aka Clark) was arrested Thursday by the Daviess County Sheriff's Department on a warrant charging her with theft, burglary and two counts of armed robbery. She was already being held in jail on a charge of failure to appear. She is also accused of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
