Man Arrested After Police Find Anhydrous Ammonia

(DUBOIS CO.) - A Dubois County Sheriff’s Department drug investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Jasper man on several felony counts.

Police arrested 32-year-old Mathew Tyler at his place of employment after a police dog found items to manufacture drugs in Tyler's pickup truck.

Police found precursors in the form of air tanks that were converted to store anhydrous ammonia in the bed of the truck.

Tyler is facing charges of possession of two or more precursors, possession of anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture, maintaining a common nuisance and improper storage of anhydrous ammonia.

DCSD was assisted by the Indiana State Lab Team in its investigation.
