(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested after police used a confidential informant to purchase heroin.
On Tuesday night, 37-year-old Robert Lovie Smith was arrested on charges of dealing a narcotic drug.
According to Bloomington police a confidential informant approached Smith on April 17 in the hopes of buying heroin. The informant was able to purchase the drug with marked money given to them by police.
A warrant was issued for Smith's arrest, and officers arrested him Tuesday at 9:12 p.m. after he was spotted at the America's Best Value Inn.
