Man Threatens Family After Dispute At Griffy Lake

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Griffy Lake Boathouse employee called Bloomington Police Monday night after a man threatened to kill a family.

The employee called police at 7:41 p.m. reporting a man was feed the geese in the 3400 block of North Headley Road and was asked by the employee to stop.

The man approached the employee later and told him he'd like to kill the family that told on him.

The employee told police the man is white, 6 feet tall, in his mid-to-late 30s with black hair and a bald spot. He left the area in a green Kia Soul with Nevada license plates.
