(BEDFORD) - One driver was injured in a three-vehicle crash at John Williams Boulevard and X Street Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 18-year-old Miranda Robertson, of U.S. 50 East, suffered cuts to her lower leg.
According to police Robertson was traveling south on X Street in a 1995 Chevrolet pickup and had stopped a the stop sign at John Williams Boulevard.
At the same time 63-year-old Carol Howard, of 3443 South Leatherwood Rd., was westbound in her 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck on John Williams Boulevard in the left lane.
Robertson thought the way was clear and drove into the intersection to turn east on John Williams Boulevard, pulling out in front of Howard.
Howard attempted to stop, but couldn't.
When the two vehicles hit, they were pushed into a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by 65-year-old Beverly Grogan, of 147 Newton St., who was stopped on John Williams Boulevard, waiting to turn north onto X Street.
Both Robertson and Howard had to be freed from the wreckage by firefighters with the Bedford Fire Department.
