(BEDFORD) - One person was injured in a four vehicle crash on Ind. 37 at Fifth Street on Saturday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 34-year-old Jennifer Terrell of Salem was traveling north on Ind. 37 and didn't see 27-year-old Bret Harness of Lapper, MI slowing his 2014 Ford Focus to stop for a red light at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Fifth Street.
Terrell told police she attempted to stop but was unable to due to the wet roads and her 1996 Nissan Quest collided into the rear of the Focus. The impact caused the Focus to travel into the left hand lane.
Terrell's car continued sliding forward striking at 1994 Ford Ranger driven by 69-year-old Robert Szemcsak of Oolitic. The Ranger was pushed into at 2011 Kia Soul driven by 58-year-old Mona Roberts of Orleans.
Szemcsak complained of neck pain and was treated at a local hospital. No one else was injured in the collision.
