(ORANGE CO.) - A blazed destroyed an Orange County home Monday night.
Firefighters from Orange County Rural District 2 and the Orleans Fire Department were called to the home around 6 p.m.
The home of Andy Hackney in the 3200 block of West County Road 840 North was engulfed in flames.
The home was destroyed.
One firefighter was injured. Danny Blanton suffered an ankle injury when he stepped into a large hole. He was taken by private vehicle to IU Paoli Health Hospital. Firefighters were on the scene until just after 10 p.m.
