(UNDATED) - Get outside and fish - this weekend - it’s free.
Indiana residents don't need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state's public waters.
To help celebrate Free Fishing Days, locations are planning fishing derbies, knot tying and casting clinics, and cleaning and cooking classes.
In 2014, nearly 2,700 people participated in Free Fishing Day events. Some events require pre-registration, so call your favorite property for details.
