(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter has announced the promotion of Trooper Adam Davis to the rank of Sergeant.
Sergeant Davis will serve as the central point of contact for critical information for statewide situational awareness for the ISP Operations Command Center in Indianapolis. As the Operations Center Duty Officer, Sgt. Davis' new duties will include monitoring the statewide ISP Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and monitoring the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) when activated.
A 1998 graduate of Wabash High School, Sergeant Davis served eight years active duty in the United States Marine Corps with tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He was a member of the 2008 ISP Recruit School Class and was originally assigned to the Bloomington District. Sgt. Davis has served in several roles over his seven year ISP career, including patrolling Greene County and serving as a counselor from 2013 to 2015 for the 73rd and 74th ISP Recruit Academies.
Davis has also served with the ISP Tactical Intervention Platoon Team (Riot Squad).
