(COLUMBUS) - A man who allegedly dropped a fake $20 bill on the ground when he saw police coming, was arrested on counterfeiting charges.
Officers were called to a disturbance at a convenience store on Central Avenue Saturday afternoon. After police approached a group of men causing the disturbance, one of the men dropped a $20 bill.
The officer picked up the bill and discovered that it was counterfeit - the bill was missing several of the security features.
31-year-old Raymond Anderson of Columbus had eight more fake $20s on him and was arrested on charges of counterfeiting.
